Description
This one has haunted me for quite some time.
I've tried castles, back and foreground, stone & other forms from nature.
Nothing works for me, I may at some time try to rework some birds into the scene. For now It's on the shelf, I like the basic layout.
Your thoughts are welcome.

I think what you have is gorgeous. If you are looking for an extra element to change the balance, you mighttry putting some heavenly body in the upper right. It might balance out the lower left where all the action is. My first thought was a ringed planet to give it an other-worldly feel, but maybe just a moon if you want to keep it more earthly in nature. Not sure I'd do anything though as I think its really striking as it is.

Something about it keeps pulling my eye to the far right corner...probably the land mass pointing that way. That and the fact that the creature she's riding seems to be wanting to look that way. Maybe try flipping the terrain so it "drains" towards the pair and see if that lends itself to another land based element on that far side?

I'd have to say on such a stellar fantasy image, maybe a 'Floating Castle' with perhaps a flying dragon winging it's way to meet up with the water dragon. Perhaps with a Young Lord of the Sky Castle aboard hoping to wisk the nubile water dragon rider away for a bit of 'pelvic affiliation'...tho she seems a bit opposed to that idea from her aggressive posture...well that's maybe just me...great image as it stands.. ...
