Description

I was in the midst of cleaning up my harddrive when I found these two renders. Then I thought to myself that I better post them before I lost them for good. Well here they are, almost forgotten. Many thanks for viewing and comments welcomed. Rendered in Poser4 and compositted in PaintShopPro

the thing that give to that image an incredible reality is, according to me, the reflection in the eyes (but also a beautiful texture), how do you make that effect?

3-D art? There's so much anatomical detail that's right here so I wonder if it isn't a photo (and I'm an anatomist!). If 3-D, it's excellent work! Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous work Dennis! Great realism. Everything is excellent, but it is definitely the eyes that make this so good. Keep up the great work.

The only thing (to me) that gives this away as being 3d is the hair, which is pretty good too. But it's the only thing that doesn't look really real. Great job! :o)

For the eyes, I used the eye texture in the 'Kain' package by Catharina Harders. Apply the texture to the Iris, Eye Whites, and pupils. Then set the eyeball to transparrent with a black highlight so it is as if it's not there. As a result, the eye texture will show though and crispy.. Yum!
