Description

This puppy had brought his person down to the ferry dock one day last August. I was on my way to Whidbey Island for a family gathering, and had an opportunity to visit a little bit with Sarge before we got on the boat. Sarge was being a very good boy. As you can see from the DOF, his nose was practically right up on my lens! He didn't seem to mind at all.

OMG, what terrific clarity and texture in this closeup portrait of Sarge, on leave from the Army base or police station. I love the self-assured and stoic aplomb displayed by this neato canine, Tara!
