Wow, just surfing the different galleries and came upon this familiar place. How did you get this picture without the tourists? I live in SA and have never seen the Alamo quite like this. Very nicely done. You've got to see the rest of the Missions if you haven't already. I've lived here 4 years and just went last week. Got some nice shots, thinking about posting....Great Job!!

Three years to visit Texas' most sacred shrine? Well, Sean, at least you finally made it and did this wonderful tribute, too. miincdesign is right. You must see the other missions in San Antone to get an idea of what the Alamo really looked like. (For you non-Texans; all that is left of the original mission is the chapel pictured here and the Long Barracks next door.)

Nice town to visit for sure.. I was a little surprise when I first saw the Alamo, guess I expected it to be more 'out' on its own.. great shot.
