I took this photo with a simple canon powershot a560 7.1 megapixel camera. I was quite supised when i got home and reviewed the pictures from the camera. I have several cameras, and this was the least expensive camera i own, just proving that it doesn't take much to take a decent photo. I removed the background color in photoshop. I only wish that uploading the picture didn't take away from some of it's overall quality. I use this, and several other pictures to demo cameras and photo printers at my place of employment. I'm an imaging manager at circuit city, and was pretty much thrown into the position with no knowledge. I know it's not a "real" camera shop, but let me tell you, it's enough to gain an interest in photography. I would love some suggestions and comments. I'm by no means a "professional" photographer. It's just an interest/hobby of mine, and i would love to hear some pointers on how to better train myself on photography.
