My name is Marnie, and I am currently in the USArmy stationed at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I work nights at the hospital and bring my laptop to work on fractals in my downtime. I guess that's why I got back into them. Something to do but be able to walk away from if need be.
I just loaded my first image not very long ago, and I am very pleased with this community. Everyone is so polite and postive. Makes one want to go and create more just to be able to share. This is the most fun I have had in awhile.
I want to thank Ronnie Jay for making my banner for me. You all probably know him better as FracJay, and he is my favorite fracattack buddy!! Luv ya, Ronnie!
I hope you enjoy my gallery!!Â

When you had asked me where, I should made the guess Spain or Portugal. I didn't expect such a photo from a town 'near' Houston (in 1976 I was there once). But this aside, it's a wonderful picture, fine lights and soft shadows, color shades perfect, all with a touch of mystery. And I repeat, un-American, but maybe that's my own misconception.

Don't be nervous an old camera makes nice photos also and sometime this is most natural! You found a very good spot..love the colors of stone. Great lighting too :)

At first I thought the stairs went up to the wall and no further. Excellent photo, lightwise and the material is quite interesting.
