Description

Thanks to everyone that has clicked, commented or made my previous uploads a favorite. This really means alot to me. This is my first photo I have uploaded. I'm pretty nervous, because I have an older camera, the day was a cold cloudy one. I just love the colors and the light at the top of the stairs. Last Thursday my son and I visited the Missions in San Antonio. We've been here 4 years and never been. I just happened to walk upon these stairs and clicked. When we had gone back to the visitors center someone had painted these same stairs. I thought kinda of cool, someone had seen the same thing I had. I hope everyone is making sure they are relaxing during this busy, stressful time of year. Enjoy the rest of your week!!

When you had asked me where, I should made the guess Spain or Portugal. I didn't expect such a photo from a town 'near' Houston (in 1976 I was there once). But this aside, it's a wonderful picture, fine lights and soft shadows, color shades perfect, all with a touch of mystery. And I repeat, un-American, but maybe that's my own misconception.

Don't be nervous an old camera makes nice photos also and sometime this is most natural! You found a very good spot..love the colors of stone. Great lighting too :)
