Description

Here is the image for the month of April from my first formal photography experience with a baby. Her mother wants to print calendars as Christmas gifts and thought of this idea last minute, so I had a lot of pressure to have 12 print-worthy portraits done in time! I had a chair, a sheet, a tripod, and what passes for natural light on a typical Belgian winter day. The Canon 40D's amazing performance with 1600 ISO is what saved the day. There are some lighting enhancements done in postwork as well. I'm pleased with the result! A big thank you to Onslow, inshaala, GiMi53, Nameless_Wildness, and Radlafx whose encouragement on the RR Photography Forum gave me the courage to try this in the first place. ... waw, nice challenge and not easy ! I don't know the others pics, but if they are the same quality as this one : wow ! Congratulation, it's really excellent. (the wings could be a little more visible... no ?) But, it's excellent, really !!! bravo my dear Mayliah !
