I was playing around trying to come up with something, after a few I renders I got this....

This is my personal favorite of your abstracts so far. Very crisp and professional looking. Definitely a good indication that messing with settings incessantly is worthwhile! ...I hope you started making those incremental saves now though. Would have really liked to render this one to a poster size and print it.
