When I saw my grandson and his other
grandmother making cookies together
for the holidays I couldn't resist taking this
it was so cute to see her inspire him to do this
and to keep some old fashion traditions alive:

These sort of look like Billy Goat cookies... But I haven't seen them made in a hundred years... well, maybe not that long ago but it seems that way. This is a fabulous vignette of togetherness during the holidays.

I loved to cook when I was very young (12ish). When I discovered food coloring had no flavor.. rainbow cakes and cookies abounded. I also discovered you can't substitute baking soda for baking powder.. yuck.. lol. Cool pic of a new baker in the family. Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

At the holidays Evie, things are never done, even when we think they are. This is superb. Brought a huge smile to my face, remembering those times my daughter and I did the same. Excellent!!!!
