This is a team of sled dogs getting their excersize by "pulling" the 4-wheeler in the place of a sled. (Don't worry, the dogs are not really pulling the 4-wheeler, it's under regular power, but the people on the buggy are providing enough resistance that the dogs are still getting adequate training for sled pulling.) This is very popular here in Alaska. We have a race every year called the Iditarod Sled-Dog Race. It's a huge event, that starts in early March. " From Anchorage, in south central Alaska, to Nome on the western Bering Sea coast, each team of 12 to 16 dogs and their musher cover over 1150 miles in 10 to 17 days.
