My second pic with Neftis' Yann hair - lurve it! :) nothing much to it, I know, but it had to come out... :) thanks for looking. Render: Poser Post: Photoshop, PhotoImpact PS: I added the noise like you guys suggested, and it looks like it worked! :) Or not???

If you look at the Japanese screen(?) you can see it (gradient from hades) in the panels. I'm convinced its a combination of lighting, camera angle and texture that causes this. I'm going to play with some images I keep getting them on and see how to make them go away! I love the blue color, it works here! The character is very handsome and the hair, well it's Neftis'- 'nuff sed! ;-)

Great image. :o) To get rid of the banding try adding a little noise (3% usually), it smoothes things out. At least that's what I always did with gradients in 2d work.

actually, as chemX told me in his IM, the gradient shows up in IE and poser. but when viewed in photoshop it goes away. same is true with me. and now we have people who dont see it in their computers and those that do. really weird. before i had my computer upgraded i didnt get them damn gradient bands. after that all hell broke loose. darn :( :( :(
