Description
The future isn't always bleak. Sometimes it can be quite attractive. Fly Me to the Moon is a simple snapshot of a pretty girl slipping away from a boring event at some high-rise hotel with champagne for two. Heading for a patio overlooking the city beneath a dramatic moonlit sky, the evening may have just gotten more interesting...
I had already had this piece sketched out and with the re-release of Alice this week, I went ahead and pulled it together, putting her to good use straight away. The hotel hall environment is Dystopia Vistas A with some retexturing and the cityscape is all Dystopia city blocks. Thanks for looking!

You gotta appreciate what's going on here, folks. Great re-decoration of Dytopian VistaA with painting in the soffet and by merely adding one sign that says, East Patio Access, intimates that there's a door to another space that I (we) know isn't really there. Nice draping on the legs, btw.

I agree that Alice does render extremely well, though few have given her an environment as good looking as she is, as is the case here. I always love the little details you add to your scenes that really sell it, in this case the displayed art and seemingly contemporary patio sign add a lot here. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the future that isn't bleak, it's a welcome change.

Oh, man some neat things going on here. Great lighting, clever use of it to establish foreground/background. So the recessed ceiling artist is? Looks somewhat like late Arshile Gorky, but Miro comes to mind, too. I think its Alphonse Mucha to the left, and I don't recognize the Chinese artist to the right. Some odd "blobbiness" in the left window panel.
