Description
This is how i do a storyboard. I first sketch with a ball point pen on 11x17 copy paper then transfer it to Bristol board..
just an example
this is for a commission...someone else is going to ink it and i cant wait to see it, i have never had anyone ink over my stuff before.

All you need to do is draw/sketch it on the bristol board to begin with. Ink over your pencils, then erase the pencils. Saves you a step and you learn to work like the professionals.

Thanks for the nice comments. DOAA and shutterb Miles, A lot professionals do thumbnails and blow them up. Then draw over them, then ink them. Some draw straight on them as you suggested, i do that to sometimes with blueline, but i pefer this way when i am thinking of the shots..... each his own. The ball point pen forces me to be loose so i wont concentrate too much on the the details. just a little trick my art teacher taught me. Im not inking this one (as i mentioned above) and i like to draw big so i sketched it out... beside i am a pro. :) i work as a freelance artist. by the way you have a very nice gallery. :)
