Description
Santa came by early this year and I'm trying out Vue 6 xStream.
Hm...I don't intend to write a review or anything since I've just scratched the surface of this piece of software, but there are already some things I like and dislike about it.
However, I'd like to try it out for a while before I jump to any conclusions.
The render above is a simple 3 story house that I've used displacement mats on. And at least I thought it made for a neat effect ;)
What I don't like about xStream so far is the amount of space it occupies when it's running. But then again, maybe it wasn't made for my lil cute laptop? :p
Oh...and I'm back online 100% again. Busy, but more around. Or at least I hope so.

Very interesting scene, I don't know what I like more...the ruin or the balloon?!

Love it ! Some great effects for so early with the software..

A truly spectacular result. The contrast between this disturbing house and the tranquil balloon is very successful

Thanks :) This version of Vue is a real challenge and it'll take some time to learn. But hopefully it'll be worth it in the end :D

I love what the displacement maps did to the house. It looks fantastic. Now, get Vue off your laptop and into a machine with some juice. ;D
