Description
This picture is taken on the same property that I took the last one.(Just Laying around.) There was so much old equipment it would take days to photograph it. My daughter (maandjboy) said that there was even old equipment buried there... What a waste.

My gosh! I love it ALL! I wouldn't have a square inch for flowers if I could get my hands on this stuff! I am crazy for rusty old broken farm articles. I used to have an old tractor seat, an old metal tractor wheel, an old field cart frame on rusted wheels and a stack of rusty tractor springs in my front yard. I was so proud of my rusty old pile! Great shot and I love the wheat colored grasses it all sits in. Gives it that pioneer look.

Love this kind of stuff!! People out here pay the big bucks for that old stuff, just to have as lawn ornaments!!!

Years ago someone went around with a pick up truck and gathered all the old equipment he could find. The landowners and farmers were happy to get rid of it. He cleaned them up, and displayed them in a huge old barn, and then charged people to come and see his "museum" of it. He had horse carriages, tractors, wagons, bicycles (the real old ones), and many other items. It was a treasure. Unfortunately, when he passed on the collection was taken elsewhere - and his barn was demolished. But he shared a vital part of American history with children and adults. The Scouts would take the tour of it each year. Fantastic shot of this. :o)
