Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
This view does not show the cog-like shape of the upper thorax which gives the species it's common name. You can see that in yesterday's posting.
This view does show the intricate pattern of the wings and that is pretty neat I think. In this view you can also see the similar body construction to that of the Leaf-footed bug that was posted 2 days ago. They are both "True bugs".
The full size view gives a good close look at the details.

This is spectacular Lee, the patten looks like it has been carved by a craftsman. Yesterday I thought the head was strange, today I know it is, It seems to thin for the body and the bulbous eyes make it look more so from this angle. Once again the clarity and detail are fantastic. Words fail me. Awesome! Bravo!!!!!
