Hard to believe that ladies of yore created these simply out of fallen pine needles.

You better believe its hard to conceive! I have been weaving a plain old basket out of pine needles for 3 years. I do a couple of passes and detest what I've done and set it down. And its just a small basket! This is beautiful and you have a great shot of the handiwork.
