Description

This picture was very challenging for me because the sailor suit requires some material changes in order to keep it from looking like shiny plastic. I also tried to give the picture the feeling of a blend between 2D and 3D art. I originally wanted to put the character in a school yard setting, but couldn't find a school yard setting for poser. I've seen all types of backgrounds but nothing comes close to a school yard setting or a tokyo street setting. Hopefully I will be able to find one soon. I've been trying to determine if the Character looks like an Aiko character but it's difficult for me to tell since I have looked at it for so long. My goal is to use this same character in an outstanding action pose. Now all I have to do is decide on a bad guy for her to beat the mess out of.

I just wish every good anime out recently wasn't a highschool drama in some way (Haruhi, Lucky Star, Higurashi ... well, there's Darker Than Black which is very awesome.)

She does have an Aiko look about her. I love the pose, the background, and the clothing. The extra work on the uniform really paid off. I think that the lens flare is a bit too bright and detracts from the overall look. I also think you did pull off the 2D/3D blend quite well. Very nice job. :)

Fallen. I agree the lens flare is too bright. I guess I focused so much energy on the sailor suit that by the time I was finished, I had no more energy for correct effects. The lens flare is way too bright for an inside setting. It could have been better used in an outdoor fight scene where a character is trying to blind the other with the shine. Thanks for your honest comment.
