Hebden Bridge 6.00pm
Deserted, not a soul in sight.
Taken last Sunday on our way back fom Haworth we had to change Bus but had a 30 minute wait. So we got ourselves "Fish & Chips".
At weekends and Bank holidays Hebden Bridge thrives with browsing shoppers and Hikers and come 5.00pm all the gift shops, coffee shops and tea rooms close -up and everyone goes home.
Forgive me for not keeping up with all comments, a lot of travelling visiting people just now. We were down to see Sylvia's Dad yesterday, lives near Spalding.

This is fantastic, 18:00hrs and not a soul to be seen, how did you manage to get fish and chips? I used to laugh at Pauline whenever she said 'It's Tuseday, the towns shut.' I used to imagine all no entry signs popping out of the ground and barriers going up at noon. What she meant of course was it's half day Tue. and most of the shops were shut, not the Town. Now this looks like the Town was shut, closed and abandoned. I have never seen a place look so deserted. Excellent capture and a great pov. Bravo!!!!!

I love walking around places like this, where everything is closed up, and the light is good. I can almost hear footsteps on the cobblestones. Wonderful image, my friend!

it is hard to believe this is a bridge.nothing like this in the state or any place I have been.mostly here there are vagrants living under the bridges.outstanding capture and the shoppes are beautiful
