Description

There's this theory that life on earth came from an asteroid; virii and bacteria are able to survive the long travel through space and the blast at impact. So in fact aliens colonized Earth (and so we all are Aliens!) This is my less dramatic representation inspired by that theory and the drawings of Roger Dean ( http://www.rogerdean.com/floatingislands/intro.html). Thank you for dropping by and comments. Andy

" What do you mean, we are lost? How can we be lost, I'm following cousin Tom in front. He always knows where he is going..!" Nice render, my friend. Good use of ecosystems. The terrain, over which the visitors are flying looks suitably barren. I wonder what life would be like on one of these 'islands'. Would the inhabitants / navigators be small 'Borrower' size persons, with telekinetic powers? Mmmm... There is definitely a short SCI-FI story in there, somewhere. Enjoy the Peace of Christmas and may you have cause to exercise your sense of wonder and awe in the New Year. Regards, John.

Wow Andy...worth the trip to view this fine realization. That's some of the finest surface mapping I've seen lately...well done. I'd never thought of bringing smallish planets close to the earth planet and then populating them...well done indeed...you are my Christmas inspiration my friend...thanx very much.. ...
