Description

Hope this doesn't "piss" anyone off! Been sitting around on my hard-drive for a couple years unfinished.....finally completed! With its roof-mounted and quarter-panel air scoops, an extended nose, and an upswept, spoilered tail, the 67 Shelby looked like no other automobile on the highway. The cars succeeded in evoking the image of the Ford GT40s which had won Daytona and dominated the 1966 24 hours of Le Mans. The center grille mounted high beams, the wide wind-split hood scoop, the roofline, which, unlike the earlier Shelbys, swept to the rear of the trunk, and the wide, clean taillights, helped separate the GT350-500s from all others, especially the standard Mustang. The first GT 500's air cleaners did not have COBRA letters on the top. This model 428 was rated as having 355 horsepower. The Ford 427 was listed an optional big block engine for 1967. However, only one GT 500's left the factory with the 427. Shelby by ADRSpeedworks Cactus by the Dude Weeds by Lisa's Botanicals

Had to do this myself more times than I care to comment on...LOL Nice render of the Shelby. Details are well done. Lighting is exceptional, as well. Especially the headlamp lighting. Bravo! Thanks for sharing.

very cool, and funny too. I had a recent thought of modeling some space ships utilizing some obvious old muscle car design styles. Not sure when Il get around to it so feel free if you want. :) Nice work!
