Description
Ohhh my God, did this take for-e-ver to render from Poser ... I would use Vue for quality but Vue is so freaking slow ...
The hair is Kirite hair, carefully resized, set is As Shanim's Alicism which looks GREAT on NearMe ... I tried out one of the other MATs on her, as you can see. Haley got a haircut from her Liltsure hair because of ALL of the pokethrough.
Scene is Temple Ruins, which causes a lot of slowdown because it's so needlessly bloated, but it renders well. And, before anyone asks, the awesome fog and water effects are done by particle Ilussion. I have used so many programs on this thing because so many were giving me trouble ... Combustion 4, top of the line for its type by autodesk, should have NO trouble but I could not get a decent fog render out of it. Then the Particle Illusion renderer wouldn't work but it plays in the main screen at original quality and size so I used Easy Screen Capture Video (ESCV) to grab it.
Other programs I plan to abuse for my animated music video are Vocaloid Miriam and Mimic for the lipsync. I'm just gonna make up my own lyrics.
The link to the SWF, with sound, is here: http://bcs.kg13.com/3dCG%20misc/kannon.html
A BIG shout out goes to the Daz3d Commons forums for major help on finding me a bell for that first scene! It matches the somber, hauntingly beautiful mood so well ... http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=1065721 (need to register to see)
The song itself heard in a clip in the SWF is Kan-non by Kitaro from the Sacred Journey of Ku-Kai Vol. 2. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QKZM3E/ref=dm_mu_dp_trk4?ie=UTF8&qid=1198583769&sr=8-1 I could have gone for the excellent Shining Spirit of Water or Dancing Lotus, but I wanted something to raise the hairs on the skin, like Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, one of my favorite animes right now.
So please enjoy, and expect more from me on this in the future! It's my animation meta-project, so to speak, to show off what I can do with the following programs, hopefully:
Poser 7
Vue 6 Infinite
Photoshop CS 3
ParticleIllusion
Combustion 4
Vocaloid 1, Miriam and Leon
Flash 8 (which I already used for converting and the SWF, obviously)

indeed it had to be slow lol. I set out to do an animated movie with poser six months later I had twent four minutes of movie, lol 8 to 9 hours for a 30 second shot lol. Decided to wait till I get another computer to dedicate to that purpose. Excellent job on this though!!!

A super animation ~ beautifully done!!!

Very nice job with the animation! Usually backgrounds can seriously slow down animation rendering. ^^
