Beautiful shot of this wonderful sky. The choice of a 10mm ultrawideangle is excellent. Something that I do not understand… WHY did you made the choice of ISO 400, il you used a slower ISO rating you would have less grain and it would be better for this kind of subject. Please take into account that using a 10mm focal length on an APS-size CCD, you avoid shake of fixed subject with a normally steady hand down to 1/20s! So if you take IS0 200 (on Nikon that is the slowest available sensitivity, but I guess that in Canon you have access to slower ISO ratings) you fall down for the same lens aperture at 1/125s and there is absolutely no risk of blur because of hand move during shutter action. You choiced f/11, that is great because with this kind of extremely short focal length, if you close more you fall into severe diffraction. Perhaps f/9.5 would be the best compromize between the various aberrations in this extreme wideangle lens.

I shoot at 2-3 iso's and later pick out the best appearing shot to me.this particular shot was on 400 because I had just made a shot in a dark area and forgot to change, but it had the dramatic cloud formation and within a minute the clouds had moved.about 4 shots into taking pictures I went back to 200.Nikon d300 can go down to 100 ISO I believe.Canon stops at 100 ISO also. as far as f 11 the camera chose that as I usually leave on auto unless I want a different setting for effects.the slight blur came into play because of post work in PSP X2.in the original shots there is no blur, but with ISO 400 there was slight noise.when I changed to 200 the noise was not apparent.when I did change to ISO 200 the camera started shooting with f 9 thanks for your expert advice and I do appreciate your time to give suggestions
