I hope I have captured your blue eyes and golden hair. They were always so beautiful.
Jane Elizabeth took her own life 3 years ago.... I have not yet recovered... we share the same darkeness....
I love you Jane.... may where you are be a better place.... please.
To my sister..... may the darkness never get too evil ever again.... you are in a better place. May your beautifyul soul be for once at rest.

Your words touched me heart, how close you must have been to your sister! I can't say that I know what you feel, but I can imagine. I "lost" a daughter and also after 5 years it hurts like it was yesterday. Hugs Ute

Thank you all for you well wishes, both here and by site mail. It is truely appreciated. When I did the previous version of this "A Prisoner of Christmas" I certainly had Jane in my thoughts. The more I looked at it the more I saw the sadnees in her eyes, the more I saw Jane... and had to do this protrait. Once again thank you for all your kind comments.
