This is the first image that I have done. Hope to get better with time.

Very good first render. My first few never saw the gallery. Just pull up the background a tad, or angle the camera down a bit, and maybe add a woodsy texture to the treeman and you'd be right on.

my first few renders ended up in the trash :) Definitely raise that backdrop a bit (or tilt the camera - either works) and a nice texture for the tree thing as noted above and you'll be doing fine

Far better than my first Poser render, but then my resources at the time were rather limited as well. I'll break out the bag of tricks later and show you all the fun stuff :)
