Description

Mornin' All *S* First, hope everyone had a most wonderful Christmas ! The title for this comes from two sources...mostly it's a reference to the phrase "Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this son [or sun] of York," from William Shakespeare's Richard III....and second, "The Winter of Our Discontent" is a 1961 novel by John Steinbeck. And please stop by and check out the Holiday Gallery...I was very honored and pleased to have my image "Santa's Littlest Elf" featured ! click here Also, and here's the shameless promo :o) ....please take a moment to vote for 2D Artist of the Month... I am very honored to have been nominated ! wooohooo ! :o) ....and whether you vote for me, or not, please vote ! ....I am sooo delighted to be in the company of so many fine and talented people there and I know they would all appreciate you taking the time to visit their Gallery ! click here Y'all have a good one *S* ~ Love & Hugs ~ * Mina * Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Credits: www.stock546_by_Odessa11stock.deviantart.com www.annikavonholdt.com www.prettybrush.deviantart.com

Funny how the first thing that crossed my mind upon seeing this is "The Lion in Winter." It starts with the arrival of Henry's wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine recently released from prison and continues with all the usual family squabbles that are typical of the holidays. I think your take is much better. Well done dearest Mina. HUGS
