Description

This, as you probably all recognise, is the background to Michael Whelan's cover picture of 'Friday' by Robert Heinlein. It hangs on my wall, and is one of my all time favourites. During a quiet evening I decided to model it. Why, I don't know... Now if I had, or even knew how to use, Poser I might even have even tried to model Friday herself. I have an old version, but it still languishes untouched on an external drive somewhere. So then I thought about 'ghosting' Friday, or superimposing with effects, I even considered something by Chris Achilleos! Meh, nothing looked right. In the end, I thought better of it. Time to move on. Happy Holidays and thanks for dropping by.

I don't know "Friday" by r. Heilein, sorry. But I really find your realism impressive!

Very nice work. I think this works without Friday. (smile) But, maybe the idea of Friday will give you another avenue to work. (smile) You could model Friday without Poser. (smile)
