Description

Hello all! A belated Merry Christmas to you all! Hope you are nestled with your love ones, each and every one of you. I had a stressful time before the Holidays (exam went well, thanks for your support!) and am now relaxing my entire being, just enjoying having free time with family and friends. :) I also have grand news! Today, finally, we bought the much longed for Nikon D40X!! I am so excited! I will show you shots taken with this new darling of ours soon, but until I have acquainted enough with it, I will show you some more fine Gaudian architecture (taken with my mother-in-law-to-be's camera, the small compact one). This is the Casa Battlo. I do not know the meaning of the name, but I do know that this building is inspired by dragons! Gaudi was SO cool! And fine animals they are.. This is the exterior, said to symbolise the dragons skeletal structure and scales. A very happy new Year to all of you, sweethearts!

Incredible shot Eva, beautiful Gaudi architecture, Barcelona is on my list to visit and I have heard that it is a photographers dream of a place. On my wall I have a print of a Gaudi Lizard, an ink drawing by 'Conut' and it is no.1/500. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.
