Description

Merry Christmas one and all. One of my gifts was FOCUS magazine. A high art photography mag. I can only dream to be as good as the people in there, but it did give me a few ideas. One of the artists featured is Jerry Uelsmann. I will confess to not knowing his work, but I really like the spread. One image had ripples in a lake and I decided to try to recreate someting similar. This image is comprised of four different photos, mostly taken in Ireland and England. A fair amount of photoshop and a few Alien Art filters and a Redfield ripple fitler for the ripple. Thanks for looking, have a great New Year. edit - Following the first comment I've altered the ripple. I can't keep the same ripple and just move it down since it has nothing to reflect off. So I've compromised the surreal nature and gone a little more natural.
