Description
As the sun rises on the dunes of Ravikiia, a scientific research ship lands at the base of a huge exoskeleton of an as yet unknown marine life-form, a victim of the impact of a large asteroid centuries ago on what was once primarily an ocean planet.The sister planet also bears the scars of this catastrophic assault as it orbits above. Soon the cargo ships will arrive with more crew and a vast array of living quarters and equipment, but for now the team will set up base camp beside the hulking skeleton, which will provide them with an extra source of shelter in the event of a desert sandstorm.
