I am doing photography since little time. My husband Edouard (Elcet) and my son Remail, who are both Renderosity members, led me to picture taking. Until recently I worked a lot and I had little time for personal occupations. My very short leisure time was spent to study violin. I learnt this instrument during one year when I was a child, and I took it again in 2003.
In 2005, a tour in Tunisia with Elcet gave me the opportunity to begin photography. Remail lent me his camera, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel SLR. Then my family and friends offered me a Nikon D50 fitted with the zoom Nikkor 3.5-4.5/18-70 Pro ED. In the photographic field and as well as for the violin, I have an amateur level. But I enjoy these two activities. I do not progress at the speed that I would like, nevertheless I have decided to continue both of them. Renderosity gives me the opportunity to show some pictures which, technically speaking, are not always what I had hoped. But, for me, sharing them with you means less to show uncompromized professional shots (to which I have not access) than to share emotions and life experiences. This is why I am also browsing the galleries, and I can appreciate the great and greatest ones too.
Thanks to people who are able to enjoy this approach. Their help and comments will be useful for me to improve my images.
Note: my english is currently VERY limited! Therefore, when my favorite interpret, who is also my husband, is busy (and he is very often!!!) my comments are necessarily very simple.

Beautiful Holiday Scene! The lights and the people bring this place to life..... seems like a fabulous community... and no snow! Stunning!

Was it better to restore the parallels of the building and the lamps? Perhaps to keep them oblique in the direction of the pedestrians add some kindness to the image. A well balanced composition full of details.
