Description

The black holes have such a gravitational field which they attract all the gases and dust present at the neighbourhoods. This matter forms an accretion disc around the hole, a little like the Saturn's rings and that makes it possible "to see" the black hole. Whereas this disc is compressed, of the forces of friction in the matter heat the latter and there is then a spontaneous emission of x-rays (in 2 jets) that the astronomers are able to detect. One knows thus how to locate the black hole.

Fantastic capture Claude! I would be afraid to be that close to a black hole, I would fear being captured by it and being pulled in. I have heard many stories about black holes, but as far as I know, no one knows which is truth and which is fiction. No one that has gone into one has yet reported back with their experiences. Some claim that black holes are just another way to get from one end of the universe to the other, in a very rapid manner. But I will wait until we get reports back from captains who have taken their ships through and survived intact!
