Description
Doña Guadalupe was fiercely independent but age and her fragile bones got her in a wheel chair know, when her husband fell from a horse they were brought to Santa Ana. She misses her garden and the town square. I wondered how many of my "comadres" (girlfriends) are still alive. When asked what would make her happy, she replied at least let me cook! She smiled slightly when she whispered that her tamales were famous.

I always have alot of trouble commenting on your stuff because by the time I get there, everything I wanted to say has been said already by someone else. That's why I don't usually say anything, because I want to make my comments count and be original. But this time, even though it's already been said a hundred times, I just wanted you to know that even for you, this shot is exceptional, and that I've loved all the shots leading up to it as well. You're a great talent, a beacon of inspiration in a sea of heavily-airbrushed soulless crap.
