Description

Here six of my razor wire shots. I took them on diff nights; like three diff ones. Took around 100 of them useing diff settings and some with flash and some with out. The botton two I know I had the f-stop setting on 1000 and the top four some with 100 and some with 400; Plus on diff camera speeds too. It all mix up. Anyway I deleted about 25 of the images i took because of movement. i could delete another 25 I guess but i keep them for the settings I used so I can see the errors I made and try not do them again. On the last night I shot I had my six foot ladder out and a big tripod out. The bank alarm went off and it was next door and the guard came out looking around ; so did the Bank lady too. Remember this is at around 7:30 at night. They did not say nothing to me but I show them what I was doing and they say it ok and some of them needed to be in a shop for sell. she say they was good art. She the one that set the bank alarm off. I was happy to find out. Guess you wonder why I would shoot 100 images of the same thing? I was walking around at night downtown and I looked up and saw the razor wire. I know it looked good and I know it would not go no wheres and the street lighting was going to be the same all ways even in rain. So I just did a lot of tests and now I see I need to do more tests as I learn about this camera. thanks for looking and comments.

They all look cool to me.I like what sets your photography apart from others is you shoot things most other people dont and you see a creative shot in somethings simple like razor wire. Nice work Jock

You should use one of these as background and have old Mr Boney dancing off one. I went down the old gas works earlier this year but it was overcast and I didn't have my tripod with me, I only took about six and none of them came out good enough to post. These are fantastic Jocko, I like the top two, it looks like blood on the wire, now that should be a real deterrent to robbers. Excellent collage. Bravo!!!!!

I love the collage. By f-stop do you mean aperture? I ask Because there is no such thing is a f/1000.0 on any camera and if there were you're shutter speed would run into days...

I mean ISO. not too good on these words and all . plus you see F Number: f/5.6 this is with the camera imformation I leave to the upload so people know what I doing. Of couse that is the first photo i put on this collage that have that number. and the 1000 I say would be the ISO or mean the ISO thanks for pointing that out. I need help on all this tech stuff.

I hope U learned to go for the exposure, and, always Open the f-stop, so U'll get the contrasty Image, which is better than None. Remember, U can Always play with the images in photoshop, However, U do need the Image though.

I like shots that are different from the normal, I can always count on you for that. Another thing I've never seen before, and now I can say I know what razor wire is! I like the two have the red from the lights on them. Kinda like a little rust .. or a little blood!

Moving piece I like the way you use reflective light and darkness to bring out subtle detail, shape, & form in your work and this is a prime example of that. Well done and Hats off to ya for this one
