Fractal Explorer
A young father told me once... :
"I came home from work.
I just wanted to hang up my coat when I saw my little girl on the stairs in the corner of my eye.
She suddenly jumped, and put her trust totally in me:
KNOWING I would catch her !
Instinctive I dropped my coat and stretched out my arms.
A moment later she was lying savely in my arms... ".
This father was very frightened by the unconditional trust his daughter had in him.
When he told me, he could clearly still see the situation with his minds eye:
his little girl jumping in his arms without any reserve.
Only after the event the father had realized what could have gone wrong,
but he felt very happy with the fact his little girl trusted him so much.
Because of my illness, I live close to the dead.
When I die I want to throw myself in the arms of my Father in just the same way.
I don't want to ask myself if He doesn't want to catch me because He might be angry at me,
or because my debts are too big, or because... .
Just as that little girl I want to jump when my day comes:
KNOWING my Father will catch me... .

What a beautiful image this is. Titia, I don't think you are going to have to jump when that day comes. I think our Heavenly Father is going to be right there with you, His loving arms wrapped around you, and He will gently carry you away to a beautiful place where you will be whole again and completely free of pain.
