Description

This was a quick shot before they got spooked.Trying to get it on action to freeze them but was not fast enough so this one isnt as good as I would like. But it was the first day I was using my new camera and I liked the shot. This herd is always almost downtown Cougar Wa. ever time I go there just about or not far from there.Unless it is hunting season and you will have alot of problems finding them LOL. Cougar has a post office a diner ,RV resort/hotel and a store/gas station that is it. 2 camp grounds close by.During the summer this place is booming. We rent a portable toilet for the store and one for the washington department of transportation over by the Cougar damn for fisherman. Long way to go but a beautiful drive,When they were building the damn we had over 30 toilets there for over a year Thanks for Viewing and if I dont get to post again before the new year I hope all my friends have a truely blessed new year to come Bobby

awesome picture of the elk. Really cool. I've tried to take pictures of turkeys crossing the road where I live but they're usually gone before I get the camera zoomed. LOL Happy New Year. Hugs

This is fantastic, Bobby!!!! We have herds of wild turkeys, here, even though we are getting built up. I need to take some shots of them because they wander across the orad like your elk.

Flew in from RI to do a job in Markham, WA this past April. I told may wife and daughter about how close you could get to the Elk herds. I didn't bring a camera with me. What a wonderful shot. Cheers!

They are beautiful, aren't they? It's only bad news if they sit in your driveway so you can't open the garage door;-)
