Rarely will I give constructive criticism, but I've enjoyed your work so far and honestly, I think you just went a little over the top with this piece. Is that mean? I feel that the tonal balance is off....the highlights are too hot and there is too much dark value so that the balance is too even...lacking tension. The blueish purple would, I think, harmonize better with the brown if the purple leaned a little more to the red, thereby more analgous to the brown. And the textures are just FREAKING ME OUT, MAN!!!!! Ok...sorry. Umm..................lovely pic!

Really interesting image this time around! Looks as though you used one of the plasma colorings for the textures, and I've always liked the plasma colorings--they do some amazing and interesting things! This is a much stronger piece than usual for you, color-wise--nothing gentle here, and no blending of colors--it's wild and vivid, though, and made me look twice! My favorite colors in it are the centerpiece color (tan, off-white/creme), and the purple. As I say, a very interesting render!
