Description
Captured 12/5/07 about 20 feet/6.096 meters from my condo unit.
First of all, these berries are inedible. Other than that, they are quite hard and small, measuring less than .25 of an inch/0.635 centimeters in diameter, and grow on a bush. I have no idea as to the species or genus of the bush, but they are rather common in this area.
As displayed in this photo, the berries could easily be mistaken for tangerines.
Have a nice day/night.

Such a festive color! I love the shallow DOF, and the light is gorgeous! For one such as me, living in this cold northern clime, it's amazing to see that kind of light in December. Beautiful image, mi amigo querido! The texture on the skin of the berries really does look like citrus.

Love this bright splash of color!!!

Texture scale is a good issue here. When the pattern looks to be similar to something larger what mechanism is guaranteeing the certainty of finding it again?

Looks like maybe a Pyracantha bush... great colors anyway...

Nice one. Never seen berries like this and yes they do resemble citrus skins. It's good to see crops that are so alive during this time of my Minnesota year!
