Description

I hope you all are doing great - survived the Christmas thing and are looking forward to winding down the year. I want to thank you guys for everything; your friendship, your support, inspiration, you give me so much. I only hope I give some of that back to you in return somehow. I wanted my Mom to see all your sweet comments on her picture; so she had a look and even made a comment! If I knew how to do a hyper link here without editing 1,000 times getting it right, I'll spare you (and myself!! LOL) .. if you have a minute, check out her comment. I thought it was nice she commented at all - I only asked her to view the comments by you! :) Anyway .. about this upload: Driving around the countryside the other day, I took quite a few pictures .. this just being one of them. Would like your input/advice on what I could have done differently to improve it. Crop ok? Lighting? Contrast? POV? Give it to me. Please. :) Shari

If it had been titled "Escape" it might have added a bit of mystery or challenged the imagination. However, its a country setting and I always like that. Happy New Year!!!! H

I see nothing that needs fixing, apart from the fence that is. It's a rustic shot, a very nice rustic shot. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Nothing I can recommend which hasn't been said already. It was real sweet of your mom to comment, although I may not agree with everything she said. ;)

This composition leaves me wanting to see the rest of the landscape, which is what a great photo will do, right? One could take a walk along the fence line to scare up a pheasant, or go more deeply into the woods and find some deer. Very inviting!

I will make a suggestion since you asked - Next time you may try climbing one of those pine trees and when you near the top, start to sway your body back & forth. Now, as you're getting a good momentum going, grab your camera and start shooting. You will be amazed at the action shots you will get and every good photographer knows that an artist must suffer for his/her work, right? Of course, you may opt to remain on the ground and keep taking beautiful photos like you have been doing... that'll work too... but not nearly as much fun. ;-)
