Medieval Gate House. This item comes with a free texture set packed with the .blend file. Items are on Layers 1-5 so they're visibility can be switched on and off. The portcullis has a shape key with a slider so you can easily raise and lower it. The draw bridge has an IPO curve that allows you to raise and lower the bridge. The chains are on a seperate layer so they can be made invisible when the bridge is all the way up. The chains are following a path curve so they can be easily manipulated, bent and moved around in any direction. To move the Portcullis - Selected it, switch to an Action Editor Window and adjust the slider. To raise the draw bridge, advance the current frame ahead until the bridge is up. Select the bridge and switch to an IPO window to move the action forward or backwards in frames. The banner is defined as a soft body. Pressing 'Alt A' to start the animation and the banner will sway slightly. It could also be hit by object and caused to move (object would need to be defined as a soft body deflector.)
