I see that Fred put a lot of spinning tops on his new hat :) Love the brilliant colors . Talking about hats , this reminds me of a joke . BRAND NEW HAT There was a little old lady standing at a corner. She had both hands holding her hat on while the wind blew her dress up around her waist. A dignified southern gentleman came up and said, "Ma'am, you should be ashamed of yourself, letting your skirt blow around, being indecent, while both hands hold your hat." She said, "Look mister, everything down there is seventy years old; this hat is brand new!"

Wonderful details on this years hat, I'm sure it will win the prize and Fred will have a happy new year. I'm trying the xenodream trial but not making much progress, lots to learn there.

Love this one! I can see it two ways, either as one hat with a myriads of smaller hats attached to the top, or a bazillion hats tossed into the air at midnight, with the one near the top center being Fred's hat with attitude! Either way, I love it .. and DinDin's joke is perfect for this image!!
