and cooks the dinner :o)..morning all .was up early this morning getting the dinner sorted out for new years day .i`m preparing it this early as we are being taken out to dinner today by my eldest and then going to his house later on for new years eve .we will spend the night playing games with the kids and generally be having a good time untill the clock strikes twelve, then we will make our way home :o)...
for new years dinner i will serve 6 veg roast potatoes and 2 joints lamb and beef .there will be 9 of us sitting down to eat it .if anyone is interested i cook the leek and cabbage together which gives it a rather nice flavour :o)
i would like to wish all of you my friends a very happy new year ,may your year be filled with happiness and good health .
i would also like to say a big thank you for all your comments and friendship this past 5 months ,i truly apprieciate all of you ..as always i will see the new year in with a cup of tea as i dont drink alcohol but a toast is just the same with a cup of tea so again a very happy new year to you and your families :o)

I am not a veg person Mick, not cooked anyhow, I like my cauli pickled with onions, I eat swede and carrots raw but never cooked, sprouts I detest, hard white cabbage again I will eat raw, leaks never had them. Now roast potato's, fill my plate. The shot is fantastic, great composition and beautiful vibrant colours. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Great compostion of fresh veg. Enjoy it tonight Mick ! Normally I would enjoy a big meal but today I have no appetite and no energy at all, I've not eaten for three days just lots of fluids, I've had to cancel lots of planned family stuff last few days and tonight. I wish you and yours a Happy New Year. I'll make up for it some other time lol

A man after my own heart! Prep the veggies, and take their picture! :) This is a wonderful photograph, my friend. The light is great, the black background really makes the veggies pop, and the composition is wonderful! I'd love it if you'd save me a few out, and don't cook them with the meat. :) (Now I'm hungry - I haven't had breakfast yet!)
