Tugga - Alley Rat Animation Here is the next phase: one rigged "Tugga" in one alley scene gif anim. I had to keep lowering the colour palette to make it fit the 512K restriction...bummer ! Next up is a walk cycle test. BTW, Tugga got drunk, before New Years Eve celebrations and this is the result...flat out ! (more or less) Cheers to all in 2008 jif3d

Jeff, not many people would understand the level of technical skill that this requires; the rigging and animation shown here is a testament to the exponential level of modeling, character animation and lightwave skills that you have learned - this is some seriously amazing work man! I am in awe- complete awe! Absolutely incredible!!

looks real --as if taken by a spy cam...great work on this little beast...and fitting the 512kb limit is why many of my animations are bare bones..but I guess it's good to have discipline and create around it..great work, congrats !

I'd have to agree with jdehaven here, I've tried my hand at both rigging and animation with limited success, and I'd say you've done a bang up job on both here! I too, am in awe... Animation is a hard bug to get over though, even though it's 10 times the work! And let me know if you come across any innovative ways to get the colour in and stay under the 512k limit, I'd love to know myself!

what can I say, Jeff amazing work! The model of Tugga itself is ingenious (for the Marketplace? ;-) and the animation is just great. Happy new year to Brisbane, bro! Cheers, Rey

This is so spiffy! He is wonderful and has a face only a mother could love, but with a good Orthodontist he could be cute. I have no idea what you did or what rigging is, I've only done simple Quicktime animation, but it obviously is complicated. You have done a marvelous work on Tugga! Excellent

The alcohol gave him a great burst of energy and everyone loses their footing sometimes. This actually reminds me of a tumble I took the other day so I have sympathetic feelings for Tugga. Super work with your animation even if you did have to reduce it down to fit. Hope you had a great new years eve.

I love the low color palette, gives it that dark alley, harsh lighting look. Really awesome critter but not one I'd care to meet in person. Thanks for scaring me this holiday :p
