Description
Coming back into her office the day almost over she stopped in her tracks seeing an over night bag sitting next to her desk. "Barb",she called out, "Do you know anything about this bag in my office", Barb had a grin on her face as she looked up from her desk. "Yes, your cousin dropped it off, said there was a note with it." Confused she nodded and went into her office. Finding an envelop on the desk, she stared at it as she sat down. Reaching for the envelope she found there was a bit of weight to it. Using her letter opener she quickly opened it to find a key. Frowning she pulled out the letter.
My darling,
I enlisted Michael's help for this little adventure. I have planned a surprise for this New Years Eve, you will find a dress, heels, as well a few other things in the bag. The key is to a cabin not far from here. A car will pick you up at 5:15, to take you there. I've arranged for your car to be at he cabin, Aisha and Dasher will be waiting for you when you arrive. I will see you as soon as I can.

Smiling she looked at her watch, it was 5:10. Rising she pulled on her coat, grabbing her purse and bag she headed down stairs. At 5:15 a car arrived as scheduled and she was whisked away to her destination. The snow had begun to fall, soft big snow flakes that drifted down lazily, she hurried to the door and put the key in, it turned easily and two very happy dogs greeted her. Dropping the bag on the floor she grabbed the leashes and walked them enjoying the quite away from the city. Once back in the cabin she picked up her bag and went to dress. Stepping out into the living room in her little black dress that she knew he liked, she sat down to wait for him. When the door opened she Looked up and smiled, this was going to be a wonderful new year she could tell already.
