Nicely done! Where can I got hold of these textures? These look very promising for sci-fi or industrial type scenes.

Dan, you're correct. But this particular deep space probe was purchased second hand from a disreputable dealer who happens to store all his probes in his backyard under a tattered tarp. This one actually had weeds growing out of the thrusters! :-P

You can find IFW textures at: www.shaders.org These are great! They render very quickly and are VERY customizable too.

:) Dudes, you re wrong. Steel is useless for space machines, so it wont rust anyway. For cool texture effect, i personally would preffer some black scratched and flaked-off paint on titanium Alloy. :o Also, beeing in space, you can go wild with light.
