lookin' good, though the only thing I would do is some post work on the "water" to really bump up that shimmer effect, looks good though :D

welcome to the guild of Stargate-makers...;) great so far, not sure about the reflectivity of the gate 'effect' but that's such a @#$% to do anyways...;) keep up the good work.
