Description

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I wanted to start my New Years renders off with a tribute to one of the greatest story book mages of all time. If anyone remembers the Dragonlance Chronicles and Legends by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. This is the closest I can get to recreating a Raistlin Majere character, with my limited skills, but I thought the render came out kinda cool. Textures for the M3 Wizard robe by PCGaijin in the freebies section under Evil Master. Background props are DM's Chronicles. They made a great wizard laboratory for Tower of High Sorcery. And I replaced the staff's normal crystal ball with, none other than the freebie stormball prop by adamthwaites. I love that prop! LOL.

You are just missing the hourglass pupils, and maybe golden his skin up some. Otherwise its good. As soon as I saw the thumb I was thinking that looked like Raistlin.

Geist, being a HUGE fan of Dragonlance I was searching around the galleries for pictures done by people here and came accross yours. Very well done image. I saw the movie the other day...if you wish to call it that and while I was upset with the outcome of it, it did inspire me to create the characters of the first books in 3D. I have finished flint and am currently working on raistlin. Having fun with trying to get his skin right, will have to photoshop the eyes unless anyone knows how to make hourglass eyes in poser. (i have tried unsucessfully a few times) again, excellent image with lots of very nice details.
