Description

When I was working on my last scene it became obvious that my skills in mapping and texturing of models more complex than simple boxes or cylinders was somewhat lacking so I made this crate prop as a teaching tool and set about learning some of the ropes. Anyway if you'd like a copy of the model you can get it at ShareCG (http://www.sharecg.com/b/5/3d-models). It includes obj, texture, bump and specular files so you can use it as is or seeing as it has 11 material zones it should be easy to retexture or change the shaders to your preference.

Well that ain't half bad a-tall! From the look of the model, it could function as quite a few different things depending on how it's textured! I'll definatly download it. Thanks for sharing it!

Looks good. yeah, sometimes mapping can be more challenging than the actual modelling.
