Dire que ça fait 62-63 ans déjà… Ce genre d'image pose les gens pour l'éternité. Et quel soulagement après tant de blessures et de millions de morts engendrés par la folie meurtrière des Nazis et de leurs complices. N'oublions jamais! Ceci posé le noir-et-blanc constitue un décalage qui rejette les poches dans un lointain passé. La couleur existait déjà, depuis la fin des années 30 (Kodachrome 1 et Agfacolor inversible) sans remonter aux procédés ancestraux utilisant des grains d'amidon colorés. On a donc des clichés couleur depuis lors et ça fait un choc quand on voit ce que sont devenus les gens après, car parfois on pense que les images ont été prises hier alors qu'elles ont un bon demi-siècle et que tant de gens sont décédés aujourd'hui ou devenus très vieux et quasi-méconnaissables. Mais notre vie est ainsi qui fait que seule l'âme est éternelle. Excellente année à toi et à tous ceux qui te sont chers amis MagikUnicorn!

Your dad reminds me of a montage of characters I have seen in old war movies, I have no doubt that he was probably just as brash, brave, humble and scared as those characters depicted. I have to admit though that seeing this photo still leaves me wondering (judging by your icon picture) just where you got your devilish looks from.
