Description

I guess I lied about not caring about the composition of the previous picture. Also I wanted to see how she looked in the more accurate lighting and shadows that are being tested for future usage. So here's a better-lit look at H.K. Spendlove: fighter pilot, drummer for the band "No, Daddy, No!", and all around (mostly) disagreeable person. Rendered in P7 with an admittedly poor sky from Vue, and HDR lighting produced from it.

your RenderoSity name means "Brave man" in Dutch. and this figure looks like a very brave lady.. ready to fly.. Great image.. Saw yesterday's image too.. it was already good, but this one is one major step forward.. great light and shadow.

I looked to both versions again now, but I think there isn´t a real different with the shadows. Maybe the darker one here gives the image more deep,but perhaps a bit more vinegrette at the shadows would be the cherry on top. How ever, it´s a fantastic scene!!

The difference in shadows is subtle. I had to use a negative infinite light pointed underneath everything, set at about -100 to compensate for the flat lighting of the IBL light. That's the biggest difference. She, her other team member, and the team leader will all be depicted in their flight jumpsuits next.
